No kidding, this is exactly what the Pug looks like but, the problem is that it reminds me of those 70s style big doe-eyed kids painted in 70s colors, looking all sad and stuff. I'm still working on this but, I need more opinions on what it really looks like, not what I think it looks like. I kind of blew it already, saying what I think it looks like. I still have some work to do on it. It also reminds of scary depressing sad clown paintings. In that case, I should just leave it this way. Maybe that type of artwork will be nice and retro and buyable. Pug puppies have that tragic look about them so maybe the world needs to see that in painted form.

Pointillism

Not much to say today. Here's a painting that took a long long long time to finish.

Ha ha! I'm environmentally safe and I didn't even know it.

My "n" is sticking on my keyboard. Hmm!
Anyway, I've been cycling more and more since I need a new clutch assembly for my car (not bad after having a 10yr. old car for 8 yrs) Another added bonus of cycling is, simply, it's much cooler than sitting in my overheated oven of a car. Even though the car is red, and therefore, not as hot as other color cars that sit in the sun, it still sucks not to have air conditioning;
See:

There is a mysterious leak somewhere in the exhaust system. Instead of emitting toxic fumes from my car, I'm merely transferring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the trees in our 'hood can handle that.
It's so hot in the summer that the bike pictured here is wearing nothing!!

The only bad side is creating more laundry for myself and sitting in a car that just gets hotter by the minute on a hot sunny day would create the same amount.

Well, another bad side (safety) is that I can't seem to locate my bike helmet which has been swallowed whole by our garage.

Dog done

The dog is done, varnished and dropped off for sale. I then, had a firestorm of activity that includes things that I won't talk about because I'm still trying to put out a few of the fires.
Here is the upper portion of said dog painting.
I'm digging the background. When I went to the gallery, I noticed my boxing painting is in rather an place not really visible unless you're signing the guestbook or on your way out!
It's right where the person sitting at the desk can see. I tried shooting a picture but had to leave to deal with some "issues"
Sigh. I really wish I were an orphan. Life would have been hard but not THIS hard.

DONE!

well, with the dog painting. pictures to follow soon.
I drop it off at the gallery sometime in the next few days. It'd be cool to have another one done, but...I should work wisely.

By the way, I have TV on in the background. VH1 is playing a special about soft rock. I can't tell you how much I LOATHE soft rock. Seals & Croft have to be the worst band I've ever heard. Cptn. & Tenille, Bread, the Carpenters, REO Speedwagon, the Starland Vocal Band- ALL y'all make music that is like listening to someone vomiting; extremely unpleasant and makes you run away before YOU start vomiting. If I were a billionaire you would all be rich because I would be PAYING you NOT to make music.
Wait, forget that.
I'd build my own radio station for my ears only, have someone invent a device that shields me from soft rock, and hire "thugs" to prevent further soft rock from being produced. Of course, I'll build an army for the revolution that is most likey to counter my actions.

Oh, I'd be ready.......if I were a rich girl.
