Venetian night: I finally get to go. it wasn't what I had imagined it. I won't be going again. The most fun we had was rolling young Alex up in a blanket and pretending to do a body dump by dragging him towards the edge of the water. I still proclaim that he died of natural causes and that I had absolutely nothing , NOTHING to do with his death.

SHOW!

A friend from church, Patti, mentioned to me that the current trend in office buildings and their decor is to hang artwork. I went ahead and submitted a link that had most of my artwork posted. They picked these four (I'm not so sure I printed the correct one on the space scene that they wanted) out of 155. Maybe I should have just saved myself a lot of trouble and posted only those that were already in print form or framed. The framing was kind of a nightmare. I had to get the glass cut down after getting it from the the first frame shop. Once they closed and I realized the glass was too big, I got them cut down at another that was open. Of course, after all of that, I finally see a frame shop that was just around the corner that I could have talked to. Oh well. My car is having problems so a dear friend lent me his to use while he's out of the country. Thank God for that. This morning's framed artwork drop-off would have been really hard to do without one.
It's downtown Chicago right next to Union Station at a place called Synovate.
The artist's reception is Thursday at 2:30! The last time I had any artwork hung in a building is Y&RNY when I worked there. I am looking forward to seeing the other people's artwork! It should be fun!
