Redone! I got it back from the gallery in order to varnish it, paint in some area where the canvas was showing through but....after looking at the original for awhile, I thought it was better to repaint the figure on the left side of the canvas! I think it looks much better than before. It's fully varnished so no more repainting. I'll just have to start over on a new one!
Of course, the week taht I decided to undertake such a task was on the last week that we were in the house. In between packing boxes, cleaning, dismantling furniture, running errands, working, looking for more work, I bust out the paints and tried to finish this painting for the gallery.

jesse bradford
I did this sketch while working for a seven day stint at some random company. I was in the lunchroom with a few Entertainment Weeklys and was hoping that I would be able to sketch with no judgments whatsoever. I also drew one of Avril Lavigne and cannot find that sketch for some reason.
When I say judgemnts, I mean to say, it seems that whenever someone sees me, a girl, woman, ....Female, there is an instant smirk like. "I bet she's terrible" I can see it. I'm not hallucinating. The reason I know THAT is if someone DOES get a glance at what I'm working on, the look changed drastically. It swings from admiration and more questions to the "I can' do better than that" bravado, to which I say, "Good for you.....why don't you?"

Tim Hodge
Tim Hodge, I added the sort of dorky pose as Tim is a very seriously cool person. I wanted to make him look a bit silly and this was my attempt.
